WHY IGNITE?

Throughout the conception of Ignite in October 2007, questions came up in conversations with family, friends, associates, and peers, inquiring about the competition and somewhat playing devils advocate. The question being, "Why would someone want to attend Ignite?" The answer is well...we've got it all!!!

Team Ignite promises to provide the following:

Of course we've got the stage, lights, sound, merchandise, Professional NYC Dance Teachers and Broadway Performers as adjudicators, a talented & committed staff, ribbons -special awards-certificates-and 4 foot tall trophies. These things are a MUST, but what about the extra special stuff? The top winners of the day have the opportunity to compete again in the evening Dance-Off at every regional event. These performers have the opportunity to be involved in a LIVE critique with our famous judges, somewhat in a "SO you think you can dance" format. The critique excites both the dancer and parent with an understanding of dance technique and choreography from a professional standpoint
